Can someone tell me exactly what they did with the ball. It seems to be a lot of discussion, but could not nail it down. All, I know is that the Goal keepers seem to hate it, and the field players like it.
Guess I hate it. 
I recorded the US game, but don't think I will watch it now. The T&T vs Sweden was interesting to watch. T&T did good with only 10 players. Hislop had some great saves.

Brazil vs Croatia was OK
Brazil never got out of third gear and Croatia nearly made them pay for this. 
Still put your money on Brazil for the cup; Ronaldhino is magic!

Most of the goal this year are outside the box which mean they are long range shot. Those ball are very good for people like Lampard or Kaka who likes to score from the outside.
The goal keeper hates it because is hard to catch as it is very unpredictable as to where the ball will go. If you look at Germany's first match. The fourth goal was also score from very far away, the guy use the inside (left) of his right foot to shoot the ball seeing it from the replay, usually the ball would go left but instead the ball sails to the right it completely defy physics
When I see how the goal was score I thought that guy uses the outside (right) of his right foot to shoot causing the ball to behave like that. I don't know if he did it intentionally but I think he was trying to shoot to his left and got lucky.
