Oh wow, the US just got stomped on by the Czech Republic 3 - 0. I was going to record this game but I'm glad I didn't.

my team is Italy, even though I'm far away from that country but ever since I start watching World Cup they became my favorites. Remember my shock when they were doing shoot out vs Brazil and Roberto Bagio missed and it was over :'( . Still think that the best sport in the world is HOCKEY.

US and Italy are my heritage so both are my team, though todays loss probably will cost US any chance on the next round...I too will always remeber how Baggio choked to cost us the world cup...and solidified my hate for the soccer rules...You CANNOT let the World Cup be decided by goal kicks!!!

I love the world cup. Watching Italy vs Ghana at he moment; half time 1-0 to Italy. I think Italy are good. Argentina and Czech's also looked good. Sorry to upset my English compatriots on this forum but they were dreadful. Maybe they'll get better?

But of course, as you would expect if you had seen my avitar, you wouldn't expect me to give England much of a chance.

And before you all stamp on me: I know we're not at the party.

The Final will be between Brazil and Italy...
I think this will be the Quarter Final, which will be in Frankfurt.

Oh, BTW, I HATE soccer.

There isn't much soccer fever here in the US - other than in our household. We got the German flag hanging outside the house. My son and I watched the opening game, all dressed in our German team jersey's. It was a blast. Just one problem...
...starting to party and drink beer at 9AM in the morning is kind of early...but what the heck...it's worldcup!!

Gruesse an Sese und Wiesbaden - hast Du Dir das Spiel auf dem Wilhelmstrassenfest angeschaut?

Technically they can meet in the finals if one team finish first in their group and the other finish second in their group. I need to check it again.
