I have to say, it brings joy to my heart to see that so many others find it tacky. I thought I might be in a minority opinion situation.

Absolutely not, you are very much in the majority on this one!! The Ferrari 599 (that's for you m630 ) is a beautiful car from the factory, this abomination is like buying a Monet at auction and proceeding to take a crap on it. Horrible

You guys are hating it as if it was an ENVY car.

Maybe if you saw it up-close, you would change you mind. I think the picture doesn't do the car justice. Trust me guys, this car is hot (flame on)

Yikes. I guess the camo covering the car fooled me.

The California is not being well-received by Ferrari purists, is it?

...still TBD, though i do not accept the prancing horse following design when they offer a new car, such as they've done with the exhaust setup amongst other things....just doesnt feel like a real Fcar, but rather a hollywood rendition of what they want a Fcar to be...and early stories suggested that it was to originally be branded a Mas (which it does look quite like what a little GT like cabrio would be designed as)

i also think the metal roof is not at all in line with an Fcar, but thats the fad of the day, though disappointing that Maranello would do such a thing again as to follow fads...i also think it does not justify the legendary badging of a California namesake, Id expect a marquee to carry that name, not an afterthought entry level car

I wouldn't want to see it up close, I might puke on it. Seriously, I think it would look worse close up.

As for the 599, it's certainly the current Ferrari I'd choose. If I wanted a car for a track day I'd choose the 430, but if I wanted to drive 1000 miles across europe (or drive to work every day) I'd choose the 599.

I know I am going to get flamed for this (as you guys see anything that is different as UGLY), well the DB9 Austin Martin that I saw was the same as this. It reflected everything around it.

How can you say we see anything that's "different" is ugly? Nobody said the Ferrari (or that Merc) are "ugly". That's entirely the wrong word. We see them as tacky and too blingy.

I think it's even worse than the envy car because the car started out being even more beautiful than an E60 so it's even more of a travesty.

Oh well, I wouldn't go as far as puking untill you see the car up close.

Again, I know its weird, I know its awkward, i know its new, but once you see it up close, you'll def change your mind.

So you didn't like the Mercedes either? once you see it more than once, and truly see it in front of you. You'll be
