A recent national survey shows the average age of a US 2005 E60 buyer was 48 years old (>400 responses). I will be 48 next month.

Youngest survey respondent: 18 Oldest: 85!

59 with 35 years of BMWs, trailing.

I bought the first high-performance 5 ever offered, the 87 535 iS 5 spd, new 20 (model) years ago. That was after lots of British stuff, right up through a fixed-head Jag E-type coupe. Oh, and BMW bikes too.

Yeah, I like Teutonic Thrust....
