My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i, Silver Grey, Sport Package, R. Shades, Cold Pkg, Sat. Rad., Prem. Sound.
I've notice ebay id that starts with a letter follow by 3 asterisks and a letter. Who are these id and what do they do? Are they scammers, feelers, or up to no good?

On higher priced items being bid on, eBay has been concealing the bidder's actual user names/IDs to prevent potential spam, harassment, etc.

That's what i've been told too, since a lot of bidders get contacted by other people trying to sell them the same/similar items or that are just trying to scam them.
