How much? $2600??? So are there any other even MORE expensive head phones out there? I'm interested to know now whats the "most expensive" mass production head phone.

Ok I'm considering the Shure E2c for $99 ya or na? I'm not a high enough roller to get the E5 or the Sony Qualia 010 so its either the E2c or the standard Sony $24.99 ear phones that i've been using...
I figured since they "say" 2 year warranty on the Shure E series I might give them a try. Will the E2s be "good enough" to notice a difference?
Or maybe the ETYMOTIC ER-6 those are in the same price range...

Hummm almost "too accurate?" and thats a downside? Why? Cuz you hear all the flaws in the recording? or because its more accurate than the E5c for a lower price?

Actually depending on what type of music you listen to they lose some of the roll off leading into the next note. That's what I mean by too accurate.

Whats the difference between the Shure E2 and E2C
I notice that like the E2 has both E2 and E2c and the E4 has E4 and E4c but the E5 only has E5...
whats the C mean? I've tried looking but havent had any luck on the web... I cant seem to find the answer.

Shure makes the E5 and the E5c. Basically the "c" means that it is packaged for their consumer line. They used to do mostly professional. The only difference between the E5 and the E5c is the packaging and the storage case.
