Great! We'll have a white, American, quad beauty as well!!! Perfect!
(I should think about bringin over my previous custom made license plates I once had on my cars in the sunny San Fernando Valley
)
Shouldn't we begin with some hotel resevations at least, guys??
If we reserve with hotels.de we can always cancel until the day before with no charges... (that's the site I use the most, while reserving a hotel in Germany)

I just spoke to the BMW Welt hotline and have following information:
Factory -- a no-go for us
- Both factories will most likely be closed from 6th - 17th April due to regional holiday period
- Factory tours are only possible on work-days
- The dingolfing factory tour requires 5 (yes, 5!) months notice
- The Munich factory can be reserved online and is done on the basis of availability (max 30 people per group)
BMW Welt
- Same location as BMW Museum (other side of the road)
- Free entrance
- No reservation required
- Open Saturday 09:00 until 20:00
- No tours, its all self explanatory, BMW Welt personel available for questions
- Parking in garage under the building; first 1 hour EUR2 and the EUR1,50 for every next hour
BMW Museum
- Same location as BMW Welt (other side of the road)
- EUR 9,- entrance fee
- No reservation required
- Open Saturday 10:00 until 20:00
- No tours, its all self explanatory, BMW Welt personel available for questions
So that means no factory tour and leaves us focussing on BMW Welt and Museum. I think this is also going to be a great place to visit -- to be honest, I prefer this than the factory! Seeing as these two are at the same location and probably not much of a cruise from the hotel, we need to think about how we build a cruise into the proceedings.
We could go and have early lunch at Starnberger See, which has a piece of derestricted motorway between Munich and Starnberg, and then head to the BMW Welt / Museum. Something like that anyway -- I'm sure there are better ideas

Yes mate, we certainly should! Why don't you just go book something for 20 people, providing its no risk to you of course. If possible, it should be close to the city centre so that we can walk to the bars / brauhaus. (However we shared taxis last time when we did the meet in Cologne, so don't get to hung up on that.) Parking is obviously a must have!
Its also time we set this up as a separate thread in the Meet & Greet section. I will try to find time on Sunday to do this.
As I wrote above, I'm not going to have time to bring this all together, so will be needing help. Volunteers please!!!!

Yes Pete, I'll gladly make a research on the current hotels' availability and their prices, but probably only after the weekend - we're leaving tonight. I hope I should have some time for this already Monday evening. I'll let you know what I found.
I'll also check what's the max. persons / per name reservations possibility via hotels.de (max what I booked was only for 4 people
so far )
But, in any case I would simply need some names / emails to make reservations, and this info I already have from the previous meets.
Obviously, we need a large parking on the spot (which is not always so obvious at the center-city located hotels...
Thanks for the BMW Welt info already!
Dingolfing is something I would like to see sometime, but OK this can wait, it's not like they're going out of business or something ...
(thanks to us!

Sorry, I've been so busy this week it's unbelievable...
I'll try to do a little search and post some results tonight, otherwise I'm leaving for a business trip to Poland tomorrow (till Wednesday), so I'd try to post from Gdańsk or Warszawa later over the weekend..
Sorry again... unexpectedly very busy time of the year...

Hey folks, it's been a while since I've been active... things have been hectic since we got back from our x-mas vacation, with a couple of large projects going on here that I'm working on. Things are settling down a little, so hopefully I'll be able to help with the organisation in the coming days.
I do however have some potentially bad news: we've got family coming over from the Far East sometime in April and a Use-By-April-09 vacation voucher for the US (basically a big family holiday Stateside) so Sathia and I may end up missing this meet altogether. Plans are still very much up in the air at the moment, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Heya guys,
sorry long time no talk - so the next meet is in April?
OK - hey RYSED - how about you and I go convoy all the way from Vienna to the meet.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
we need to make sure we get our 313s until then
would not want to embarass the E60 crowd with showing up on "old" performance parts ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
heheheh
