What gas needle read at the time? 0 or 1?
I never moan about the gas price. I wish it could go as high as Europe so that big SUV and truck would deminish from the road.

Funny, with my 545, I'm lucky to get range of 350 miles.
Not sure if anyone has posted this already, but there was a news story this week in San Francisco, that there's an Arco station, locally owned and operated, charging between $6 and $9 per gallon for gas, regular was like $6.15, premium is about $8.50.
The station across the street charges less than 1/2 of that, or normal prices. They were interviewing people at the station, and it was amazing that they hadn't even looked at the prices on the 15-foot tall signs at the entrance, and when they did, they said "Wow!" and bought the gas anyway.
Talk about total boneheads! Hard to feel sorry for people like that.
Yeah, I know - so it's not quite as expensive a comparison as it seems - he gets 50% more miles per tank than gas/petrol models.
How many M5 would you find on the street compared to non-efficient SUV?
I would support SUV when it's truely used for it - like more than 70% of the time, but I see people driving it just because of the ride height, SUV bandwagon, me-too kind of thing.
Think about Hummer, Ford Excursion, Aviator, etc.
What about super unefficient Caterpilla machinary? I support those because they're utilised for their own purpose 100% of the time.
Also, think about resource for next 10 or 20 years, and think about the war in Iraq.
