That's why I thought I could get by doing it my way.
C'mon JDN, you should know it better. It's allways the wife's way or no way...

Hey, Ice, I'm doing it her way. It was her motivation that got me out of the rice buggies into the Bimmer in '96. We completed 24 years together Sunday. No comparison to missus #1. I didn't know they made this model. I had reverted back to bachelorhood before I met her.

I drove she flew...

(ok, we drove back together but it was night time and she didn't notice me doing 155 through France.)

Good job she didn't look down, she'd have seen the car overtaking the plane

Everyone, thanks for you replies...very entertaining. I have only been married two years, and I still consider myself a newlywed, and I am enjoying every minute of it...that we are not driving together.

No other complaints, love the married life, I found the right woman definitely. She just needs to go to sleep and stay asleep.

Also, don't remember the poster, but I like the plan...get the M5 first then get married. However, I sold my used three series before I got married, and my wife wants me to get the 530 fully loaded. I was going to get a used 7 or CL, but she won't have it. Brand new, and she supports me fully...I can't ask for much more than that.

Haven't gotten the car yet though, may be going to Japan for 3 years on assignment. Anyone here have experience in Japan?

Aaron,
Are you in the military? If so take a trip to Germany and buy your car. You will save between $4,000-$5,000 depending on the model you get. Let me know I can send you the email address of a dealer that will take care of you.
