Victoria Falls between Zimbabwe and Zambia is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Didn't go to the Devil's Pool, but did whitewater raft down the Zambezi River, which was incredible. The most dangerous part is simply getting down to the water since the cliffs are so steep. We have some amazing photos that I need to get scanned, since it was 2002, and we shot it on 35mm back then. If you get a chance to go, do it! Stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel, which is a quick jet trip from Harare on Zimbabwe Air. http://www.victoriafallshotel.com/

It might be safer to buy copies of their pictures instead of hanging your own ass off the lip of the falls!! What an amazing place though!!

Been there. The Devil's Pool is actually on the Zambian side. On this side you don't get the amazing view on the falls as you get on the Zimbabwian side.
I also did the whitewater rafting on the Zambezi (grade five). I was there in December, which means lower water levels: lesser falls, faster rapids
If you ever find the chance of going there..... do it!!!
