My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
If you are not opposed to moving you should ask your agent what zip code in the city will get you the cheapest insurance. My brother in law just moved and his two cars (land rover and a 6 series) with 500 deductible is less expensive than just my E60 with a $1000 deductible!

I feel you pain tex. I too have wanted more juice under the hood as I have a 530. Although it has 255hp it's by no means a burner. It will get up and go when I need it to though.
I test drove an '08 550 the other day....it was amazing!! F'ing thing was a rocket coming from a 530. But i've always know my cars capabilities and treated it as such....a sporty cruiser that can get a little restless when needed.
I too had the mental debate over the 335 though (although I don't know what the HH--issue is??). They are really fast and definitely sporty, not to mention they look amazing with just a few mods like the Mkit and wheels.
If you don't need the space (all I ever have in my E60 is a gym bag) I say go for the 335.
Eventhough I loved the 550, it's tough getting a new car that is the same model as the current car (but man it felt good!!).
It's a little easier for me to justify the 550 though because my car is pre LCI so it really does feel more like a new car going to 500 LCI.
Good luck in your decision.
You can't lose because if you keep your car.....well.....it looks awesome already!!
