so you're gonna part out the hl's? ![Hyper](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/hyper.gif)
BTW out of the options that you seem to be leaning toward, I totally recommend a CPO 545, or 550![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
Good Luck!

When going from my previous 530d to my current car, I went through a similar thought process. Like yourself, I loved my car but wanted more power. If you haven't already, go for a test drive in a V8 E60 -- my mind was made up on the spot
Its just a fantastic all rounder IMHO and does not come with those big M car costs. Then you just need to decide if you want 2 or 4 doors!
Good luck

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV

Phil, I am not sure I would get an E39 M5 right now. They are VERY expensive to maintain and, while I really do love the E39, it is looking dated at this point 2 generations removed from being the world's best sports sedan. I am considering the same thing as you - used 550 (preferably LCI), not CPO this time because CPO really doesn't cover much. Get a 3rd party warranty and you'll probably be better off.

Keep your car put a BMS Power box and sport suspension kit and your car should feel like a new car. But if you want that 300+hp V8 feel then make sure whatever car you get has a warranty.

if you need money, dont sell the e60, sell your body to big smelly gay truckers at rest stops on the interstate. you have already shown the internet world your nipple, pretty much the same thing as touching a wiener with your mouth at a truck stop. nothing a little therapy cant fix.

LOL craig, I don't need the money but I wouldn't want to have two payments and 2 cars on insurance. I already pay $200 a month for this car on insurance. I'll have to test drive some 550's or 6series. I would really like a 6series.
