Just wondering ..what's the speed limit there?
The wonderful thing about the autobahn is that most parts don't have a speed limit, and they're built for safe driving at speed (smooth surface, curves and grade changes are very gradual, etc.), and the left lane is for passing (you won't get stuck behind some idiot going 50 MPH in the left lane who refuses to move over!).
Is autobahn a track or freeway or what??wow i wish theres some kind of it here in the us
The autobahn is the highway system in Germany--you haven't driven until you've driven on the autobahn!!! More info here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobahn

Even better is the Nurburgring--pay ~$15 and get to drive on a world class track--the benchmark in automotive testing:

Nice catch.
Two great cars, but I bet that CGT was pulling away from the 430.
Hi,

yes, THERE IS A SPEED LIMIT! (I know that place very well). The speed is limited to 120km/h as there's a motorway triangle directly followed by a motorway cross. Currently - after the cross - there's a construction ongoing with 80km/h limit. On the other hand, traffic is often low there....

In general it is the motorway between Frankfurt and Mannheim. From Frankfurt to Darmstadt it goes via 4 lanes without limit, but often heavily loaded. Then, after a short 120km/h limit (including gratis flashlight ) it goes over a long unlimited 2 lane piece to the best of it: about 15km 3 lanes with no limit - often empty

But again, the photos were taken in the 120km/h speed limit zone. Nevertheless: Nice pics

Nothing

So he's a picture of a F430 and a GT. So far, so what. No speed he can proof, no "close driving" on the picture, no drivers to identify...
That's nothing the police is trying to go after (it would be different if a "real dangerous" situation would be the background).

Anyway this should not be a reason for doing stupid things....

I was thinking the same thing too. Your wife is as steady as an oak. It wasn't a bright day and photos still were not underexposed. At least 1/250 shutter speed to grab that Ferrari with the CGT out in front.

One thing though, do you think these two passed you with wide-open throttle? That is, did it seem they both had the accelerator pedal all the way down? How fast were you going when they caught up with you?
