I've been having issues with my TPMS showing low air pressure randomly. Not much happening at work today and I didn't feel like being there so I decided to take the car to the tire shop and have things checked out. Well, somewhere between the tire shop and my house my brand new RDSport trunk spoiler decided it didn't want to be on my car. That's right the darn thing blew off.
It will be ok though. I called the body shop that painted and installed it and they are going to replace it for me. He installed it using 3M tape but I guess it just didn't stick well enough. Now he says that the only way he will install the new one and offer any kind of guarantee is to drill holes in the trunk lid and bolt it on. Don't think I want to do that.

DO NOT LET THEM DO THAT!!! Use the stuff I did, GOOP, I got it from Autozone. It's an adhesive similar to silicone but stronger and it won't hurt the paint. The spoiler can be removed the same way you remove emblems - fishing line or dental floss. Also, residue can be cleaned up with Acetone, or nail polish remover. NEVER let them drill holes.

OH SNAP!!!

drilling?? get the fu&k outta here! tell then you dont need it, you need that adhesive, but if I were you and there already THATstupid, I would stay there when they do it, this way its neat, clean, and then when there done, just get the fuck outta there.. Or maybe you can just tell them to get you the spoiler and youll put it on yourself, youll probably do a better job anyways with the help of us

Your tpms is showing low air because the weather is changing.
