I love the E60, but sadly my dad is going to be driving it now, as we got rid of the Infinity, and the corolla.
I had it for almost 3 months and I loved the car. I am going to be buying my first car in the coming weeks and just started looking today. Not an E60 as they are expensive but something a tad cheaper.
Hopefully when my dad orders his 750i in June I will once again be a driver of the E60.
My budget is about $9k I have $7k rest can come from somewhere.
What do you guys suggest. I know most of you are really good with cars. I am so far looking at,
2006 Honda Civic LX Sedan (Only about $7k with 80k miles)
2002 Acura RSX (About $6k with 75k miles)
2001 Lexus IS300 ($7.5k with 92k miles)
I also looked at some several nice BMW?s, but my concern is there reliability.
2002 BMW 328i Coupe (Only $8k with 94k miles)
1999 BMW M3 Sedan (Only $5k with 112k miles)
2001 Mercedes CLK Coupe (Only $8k with 110k miles).

Those are ugly no offense to any classic lovers.
There is a nice 2001 BMW 330i Sedan for sale with 96k miles and its only $7k. Black with M3 rims really hawt.
My friend bought a 2002 BMW 750i with 112k miles and now it has 140k miles no problems, but then you hear the other stories.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I would get the 1999 M3 for $5K if I were you, then get the extended warranty (about another $2k) that way you get an M and (provided the car has a clean history - definitely check CarFax) you have some peace of mind.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
I hate to say it, but I'd go with the Lexus just for the quality thing. If you can afford the repairs, I would definitely go for the M3 or the E46. G/L
