Burning CDs at 1x sound quality is superb!!!!

I decided to try the 1x burning, it made a huge different when palying in the L7, I absolutely LOVE it!!! New project, reburning my CDs!!!! It's slow but well worth it!

Thats good to know. Never tried that one before. 24x is the slowest I've tried.

Depending on your computer is not that bad!!! I heard that from Krozi and had some time to kill last night so I set up and burned a few songs...played this morning could not believe the difference, I even kept switching between my regular CDs (previously burned) and the 1x. All I can say BIIIIIIG difference!

You cannot actually burn at 1x. When you set your software to burn at 1x it actually burns at the slowest speed supported by your CD. If you are using software like Imgburn etc you can see what speeds are supported. So 1x can also mean 4x or 8x too. But its always a good idea to burn at the slowest speed.
