Helloe F1 fans!

If you haven't seen the qualifies for the tomorrow's race, no biggie, here's what happened.

Q1 looked ok for the bmw drivers. In q2 things started to complicate, for whatever reason both drivers struggled to qualify for the superpole with Kubica just taking 10th position in the last lap after the 0:00 timers ended. It took it by only 0.015 seconds. Clearly i thought something was wrong. I knew tyre choice here was a problem. Massa didn not qualify for Q3 due to some technical problems (rumored electrical). In Q3 Nick Heidfeld was on fire, with the problem sorted out, after swaping to a harder compund tire. But for Kubica it was not the same, while things improved he was still not in his rythm. Later on he related (BMW Sauber webiste) that he has some problems with the gearbox, and that it takes too long to upshift, and that was the main reason he was not on pace. Alonso obviusly batteled with his team-mate and won the battle quite easy toward the end. So here's how they stack up for tomorrow's race:

Pos No Driver
1 1 Fernando Alonso 1:19.674
2 2 Lewis Hamilton 1:19.781
3 9 Nick Heidfeld 1:20.259
4 6 Kimi R?ikk?nen 1:20.410
5 16 Nico Rosberg 1:20.632
6 11 Ralf Schumacher 1:20.714
7 10 Robert Kubica 1:20.876
8 3 Giancarlo Fisichella 1:21.079
9 12 Jarno Trulli 1:21.206
10 15 Mark Webber 1:21.256

So in the end i can say i'm very pleased of the results. I hope BMW will keep the same rhythm and start battling for poles and podiums, instead of being the 3rd power in F1. It seems here they were the 2nd team. I'm glad also Alonso took the pole, as i would really like to shut everyone's mouths. He is not 2 times world champion by mistake. However i saw some weird mistakes in the pits at Mclaren especially (bmw too). I hope tomorrow stuff like that doesn't happen. Very interesting race tomorrow, i eagerly await to see how Heidfeld starts, as i know the launch of the BMW is very good, and Heidfeld launches good also. I hope for Kubica the best, and i hope he sorts his problems till the race.If he does so i expect him to pass both Nico and Ralf sooner or later. So the eye is on the top 4 .

Let it begin...

The reaction from Ron Dennis at the end of Q3, Hamilton's post qualiying comments and the looks that the McLaren pit crew gave each other told the real story. Alonso waited well beyond the time he was given the signal to go and in doing so deliberately denied Hamilton another flying lap. You do know that Alonso's actions are under investigation by the stewards? Either way, Ron is furious and he's going to rip Alonso a new one. Alonso is clearly intimidated by Hamilton, and one way or another he'll end up paying for his actions today.

wow, i didn't know that. I guess if what you say it's true, for sure tomorrow we'll see some actions from the stewards. Right?

Not so sure, the team are downplaying it a little and there's been no word of any steward's decision. My take is that the team are not happy, but they'll handle it behind the scenes. Last thing they want is for Alonso to lose grid position so they will be careful not to pour fuel onto the fire right now. Either way it makes for an interesting race, the Budapest GP is always a good race, it's a great circuit.

Alonso is a jerk! He is not a champion, he is far away from being one. He is a good driver, not a very good one. Others out there are better and deserve to be champion much more than him.
F**k him.

Yeah!
Trouble is the team also got punished, no constructors points tomorrow. McLaren have appealed - Alonso has a lot to answer for.

"The attitude of the team at the end of qualification was considered prejudicial to the interests of competition and motor racing."

Alonsos statement might be the reason:

Explaining his hold, Alonso said: "The team held me back in this. We tried to have some space with the Ferrari (Raikkonen) in front of us."
