Scam. Look at email header to get the IP address and report it.

 

Dead giveaway is their email address: bmwpromoclaims@aol.com. BMW has their own email address e.g. bmwpromoclaims@bmw.com if it were legit.

I get too much of that kind of junk every day to answer. While I was a webmaster for ten years, my email address was spread far and wide. I caught this one in the filter.

 

Ok you have a point but you'd be surprised by how easily an domain email or even a specific email can be cloned. But guess those guys weren't that smart.

 

Do yourself a favor...

Whenver you get anything by email or snail mail with the words, "CONGRATULATION!!! YOU ARE A WINNER." don't open it.
Immediately trash/delete it.

Trust me, we're not that lucky.
