Well, I've just been 2 weeks in France, pretty near St. Tropez, and I know this board love pictures, so here they are

The hole family went to France, so it was vacation time for us, but not for the E60

We had a great time in the southern parts of France, good food, been with some good friends, visiting the beach, but most of all - what a car the E60 is!

(Copenhagen - St. Tropez ~2.000 km)

On the way to St. Tropez we drove via Luxenbourg, and sleept one night there, before driving the last part of the trip, the day after. The traffic was pretty bad, on our journey to St. Tropez. Germany was a mess, France was a bit better.

The drive home, was amazing! It was last saturday, and Germany was playing a World Cup Match, that means no traffic at all at the autobahn! We startet the journey at 6,00 in the morning, and drove 1.916 km that day, back to Copenhagen. The navigation worked like a charm, the traffic was not bad at all, and the 900 km we drove in Germany was just amazing.

Pictures from the trip:

On a fuel station in Germany, I spotted two 7-series (Wasserstoff) - Hybrid?

A picture says more than 1000-words (German autobahn A7):

From St. Tropez to Puttgarden (the Danish/German border) we had a average speed of 142 km/h !!!!

The journey computer for the day:

Took this picture the day after we got home, just before I washed the car:

To sum up: We had a great trip, and the E60, is THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE!

I washed the car twice in France, on a Shell fuel station (not mashine wash) but just high pressure water, and some bug cleaner - worked like a charm... So I feel the same way as you.

Did you notice the two Sevens have consecutive number plates?
