What ever boat you choose, you must have a sea trial and an independant marine survey. Can't sea trial in winter, I've seen brand new boats take on water and sink at the dock on maiden voyage.
Dealers clean up boats and make them look real tempting on land , the sea trial tells it all.

i believe you can do a sea trial as early as march.. it will be cold, depending on where you are.. for us i think thats when they wanted too.. was too cold otherwise

and even from what ive heard about buying cars in canada there more expensive too.. go used

only way to go.. forget the 500$ perks.. its crap.. you cant buy much worthwile for a boat for $500 bucks anyways..lol.. my fuel costs at least 2x that
