Meh. If you just want a watch for utility rather than craftsmanship or style, the Orient is OK. There's nothing special about it. It's a disposable watch, even as an automatic. If you like it, great, but you'll never be able to get anything for it if you want to trade up in the future.

I like them, what can I say? The fact that I can give them to my grandkids (eventually) is a huge plus for me. Especially since they'll be worth more then than now. Pretty much most days I wear my Colt with a blue face, the others are for special occasions.

Dont get a normal Rolex. Submariner is decent. Rolex aren't what they really are. Get some higher end watches for a little more money. Well, except that the Rolex Yatch 2 is really really nice.

Get Franck Muller. The prices will just keep going up and up. IWC is just a classic and does not look like an expensive watch but if you know watches, u'll like it. Patek Philippe and APs are just one of a kind and you can never forget about the limited edition carbon fiber roger dubois easydivers.
