I have a coupon code for 50 percent of the whole site and was thinking of this one:

watch

First time that I have heard of them and wasn't sure about the quality. Looked around online and found some good reviews. Anybody have any experience with them?

My father had an Orient watch - worked perfect for about a dozen years until he gave it to me and I lost it during a fight... oh the teenage years... anyway, its a great watch, reliable and accurate. I think they use Citizen movement, but I might be wrong. Either way, for the money, not so bad. I got me a "cheapsky" watch for everyday from Citizen - $300 bucks and I never have to change the battery - EVER! (I got the solar re-charging model). Of course, Breitling is the way to go if you're looking to spend a little more, but for the money, stick to the Japanese watches if you want them to last and be maintenance-free. That's my experience. Also, Tissot is an excellent watch for the money - if you really wanna go Swiss...

Thanks for the info. I might just pull the trigger on the watch since it will be 50% off and will only be $300.

Never heard of em, it is a good looking watch but I cannot attest to quality. I am VERY partial to Breitlings myself, can't see myself switching any time soon. Again, that is a nice looking watch, so if it's doable - go for it.

Orient is one of the best and oldest Japanese brands, they make superb watches.
I had Orients when I was in college, and they still work just fine and very accurate (20+ years).
I would not hesitate to buy another Orient.

Never heard of it as well. It's a good looking watch, and based on v_therussian's review coupled with the $300 price tag, go for it! Good luck!
