Has he run the thing at any of the local 1/8 miles?

I haven't taken my 550 out but I suspect it'll run a 8.8-8.9... Pocket Dyno on my iPhone says 9.10, but I have only done that once. My V8 Pathfinder ran a 9.3X at Kennedale and this 550 will run circles around that thing, so...
Mustang guy speaking here : I ran it in ennis at the 1/4 mile a while back with intake, tune and an off road pipe i believe and i ran a 13.2 and 8.5 in the 8th.

Since then i have added full exhaust, gears, and some random suspension stuff.

Heres a pic of my ride..

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I have a 545i, it's stock, but i'd do it. I'll be back in the DFW area next weekend, so anytime after that i'm game.

Where's pjinca, I need those damn floormats!

This race was over the minute you said "mustang"... honestly, it would be a waste of gas for the 550i
Hey! Take it easy there, now! I've had 2 Mustang GTs and plan to have a third one next year. I love the Mustang GT, hence the screen name.

Anyway, the 550i is a good 400lbs. heavier than the Mustang GT. It would be really close probably up to at least 110MPH or so by my estimate.

I had a '99 & a '05. The '99 was garbage. The '05 was divine by comparison. I miss my '05 a LOT!

That is gonna beat pretty much anything here in the straight line, short of an M5... Sorry fellas, Mustang will get this one, IMO.

Car looks sick, BTW.

Mustang guy again: Yeah, the car should easily be good for 12s now, and ive seen plently m5's running high 12s at my local track. IMO, i can run with a m5 at the 1/4 drag strip. 550i shoudn't be a problem
