My norton a/v is expired so I was wondering if there are better options.

I've used Nod 32 for the past couple of years. Not as bloated as Norton, runs quietly in the background, updates itself regularly and works!

Mac isn't as safe as it used to be, "thanks to" that hacking is a big business nowadays. I listened to this podcast from the BBC Hacked to pieces and got depressed...
