About notebooks i'm also a Sony Vaio fan. Tried pretty much everything out there. Acer, HP, Fujitsu etc and nothing comes close to the Sony Vaio range. True that here at least it's the most expensive brand but it's also the very best. And it's not about pure performance and style it's about feel also. I never realised till some time ago how important is the keyboard, how it feels, how big are the buttons, placed, how long is the key travel, how does it feel the texture from the point of your fingertips etc etc. And this is just a small part of what it has to be a great notebook.
I found my personal best in teh SZ series from VAIO. I simply cannot ask for much more. I simply can't. It's almost perfect in every way. And here are the Sony Vaio SZ 4 P/X specs: http://vaio.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.ac...ry=VN+SZ+Series
At 1.6 kilos it's just spectacular ergonomic and compact and still not too small like the TX series.

Not to seem biased since i am a bmw lover and Intel fidelity but to each of it's own. True that AMD 64 ruled anything from Intel, even the EE from pentium 4. But now it's vice-versa. Core 2 duo is spuer fast and faster than any amd and to think now there is a core quad processor...WOW
