Because its unnecessary??

 

i like the idea. if i wasnt seemingly always busy and my car got towed, i would do this. i cant stand the people that work in those places taking my time.

 

It is an interesting idea, and I do understand where you are coming from on this, I completely agree. It just seems a little stupid and unnecessary.

Sure, we'll accept the pennies for payment sir. I will of course have to count them. At that point, I would start counting them, one by one. Every time I got a phone call, it would be like oops, I forgot where I was. I'll have to start counting over. Believe me, I would have drawn that out for the entire day to make sure I wasn't finished by closing time. Sorry, we're closing now. Bring the rest back tomorrow and we'll start where we left off.

 

i am a douche. i would be like... "alright, see you tomorrow". you know she has other things to do and can't do that anyway. if someone else comes in, she needs to finish with me before taking a new customer. she can piss off people all she wants, but she wont be working there long. the economy isnt so great right now. I know people with MBAs waiting tables... i highly doubt some moron with a GED can afford to jeopardize their job. if she quits, i know an out of work accountant that would taker her job.
