So far practice laps have L. Hamilton as the quickest driver. The rookie is amazing. He has certainly surprised me.

Qualifications are coming up. I'll post those soon.

Hamilton takes pole! Hope he can win his first race, I have a feeling it won't be his last. Just a great talent. Heidfeld to start in 3rd ahead of the Ferraris, very nice.

Sorry, I'm slower today but yes, Hamilton on pole position is very good. McLaren-Mercedes might use a 1-stop pit strategy for him since Montreal is one of the few tracks with minimal yellows (pace car).

Here's how the grid looks for tomorrow:

1 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes
2 Fernando Alonso McLaren-Mercedes
3 Nick Heidfeld BMW
4 Kimi R?ikk?nen Ferrari
5 Felipe Massa Ferrari
6 Mark Webber Red Bull-Renault
7 Nico Rosberg Williams-Toyota
8 Robert Kubica BMW
9 Giancarlo Fisichella Renault
10 Jarno Trulli Toyota

Nick looks like he is going to try and spoil the Ferrari's chances at getting closer in points to the M-M.

Yep, I'll admit I am not a big fan of the Scuderia Ferrari team, nor was I a big fan of Michael Schumacher. Its time for his little brother Ralphy to leave Toyota and maybe F1 altogether. Last two races he can't even advance into session two of quali. While Trulli is constantly in the top ten in quali. I think Trulli is one hell of a racer.

Yes, Trulli has always been among the top drivers. I remember when he was driving for Renault in 2003 (I think with Alonso).
The Toyota team has been improving slowly and they seem to be positioning themselves right behind BMW.

What a race!

It had everything.

Kubica has just a broken leg (unbelievable for this kind of accident!), so everything is OK so far.

I hope Robert OK. That was scary! We'll find out more later [fingers crossed].

Well, we've got a rookie winner afterall. Hamilton takes the win. Congrats to him and the team.
One good news for BMW is that Nick takes 2nd. The highest finish yet for himself and the team. We finally see him on the podium.
