I really don't care what the issue is, but I am strongly against storing up quotes and and pulling them up to get at another. Jock Strap obviously is a member who has a grudge against 700700. The pettiness of pulling up quotes, possibly out of context, to make someone look bad needs to stop or needs to be censured by our moderators. Jock Strap is not the only one who engages in this practice.
The beauty of the internet is it's a public record--so what you say is out there. Just because you aren't comfortable--in hindsight--with the comments you make, and don't like it when you're quoted--don't hide behind this holier-than-thou BS of "pettiness" and quoting somebody out of context.

And "storing up quotes?" Don't flatter yourself.

You are doing it again Stream--appearing foolish in public. Go find some more out of context and misconstrued quotes to embarass yourself with.

"How was your day? Anything goes but please keep it PG-13!"

But, I don't think that "anything goes" includes character assasination.
You are right and thats probably what i should have done!

But Nothing will beat the smile on my face once i post up the other pics, and people like bettermakeway, stream and bimmer whatever bite their tongues. Maybe theyll get a life then

700700, in addition to the advice others have provided, I'd suggest it would be in your best interest to post pics of all the cars you've indicated you own/owned--as you said you would in this post http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&showtop...ndpost&p=240206 . Even though that wouldn't be incontrovertible evidence (remember JonD?), without it, it would be very easy for one to assume you're another JonD.

Well Znod, now you know how annoying it is to deal with people like stream
Oh dear, what have you done Stream? With all these talk of your grown-up attitude, you have gone and embarrased yourself in public. Good one

I guess I'm almost young enough (32) to relate to 700700. He obviously got defensive when everyone started to gang up on him. It's human nature: Fight or Flight? You do two things, 1. Cower and hide or 2. Come out swinging. 700700 took it in the chin and is now hitting back.

I have been mostly a lurker since I joined, but I think everyone needs to chill out. To stream, thanks for your replies to my posts here and in bimmerfest. In my book you're a respectable contributor to this forum as well as Znod. And 700700, interjection of youth is great. It gets dull and boring without it here.

Can't we all get along?

It's telling that you refer to that post as a "contribution" to the forum. It has to go down in the history of this forum as one of the most incredible wastes of bandwidth and disk space...I mean, really...tell me what knowledge you've gained from 120+ posts in that thread (mostly ramblings by znod)?

Actually, I think you meant here.

Might as well go here too.

And, for more,

go here. I just found this little gem of embarassing oneself in public with petty behavior.

One would think he has something against me.

I am surprise that this thread is still going strong.

But having said that, this thread still make me laugh and is good after a hard day of work.
