Does the device (sprint booster) give you better gas mileage?

Fiel, see if Andy would refund you the difference. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I had also ordered my SB from him and paid full cost at $300 I think before I set up the group buy and once it was done, he gave me $50 back.

BTW, are you coming to CCH on Fri? Saw you reading that thread yesterday. haha
Hey Tony... I was seriously thinking about meeting up on Friday and was going to ask you on that thread what time dinner starts... but I'm not sure if the wifey is going to dig me going out on a Friday while she stays home with our 3 week old son and our 3 year old daughter.. okay... I don't have the cajones to ask her haha! .. If I did go, I was going to see if someone wanted to install my SB and I would treat them to dinner and a beer... (no worries on the extra $30 I paid to Andy.. sounds like it will be well worth it!)

Don't think so. I've actually heard some members say that it decreased their gas mileage a bit.

Dinner will be around 7-7:30PM. Maybe you can bring the wife and get a sitter for the kids. Not that I don't like kids but it'll be tough to watch them when your fingers/hands are soaked with cajun sauce.

Installing the SB will take about five minutes so it's not that much work but hey, I'm sure any of those guys would jump on a free meal or drinks. haha Just come to the dinner since you can never make it to the bigger meets.

Right here I'm your man!

Look for a black 550i and a guy walking around with a camera......

I'm doing this because it's important to help out a fellow E60er............. who cares about free dinner and beer ppfffttt......

My MPG got like 3-4MPG worse than what I would normally get.....

But it's so worth it!!!

For a smaller engine like yours, I really doubt a K&N drop in will make a huge noticable bump in performance. The SB doesn't add power either, but it'll make much better use of your take off/acceleration/shifting, which I think is a great benefit and why everyone else got it for.
