I been getting quite a few emails about these in the last couple of weeks and wanted to offer a group buy.
I will require 5 or more guys to sign up. The group buy price is $230 shipped in the US. the retail price on these is $329.
Here's a install done couple of months ago https://5series.net/forums/topic/113...0/page__st__15
You will need a diy frame which is available for sale on e90post for about $40. If you need components for the fronts or amps i can also assist you, ive help quite a few members get awesome deals on car audio. You can download the full catalog here http://www.rainbowcaraudio.com/index.html . These speakers come with 1 year manufacturer warranty.

My radio is just a stock 10 speaker system. Will these significantly improve the bass? I don't want to do any amp mods at this time. I'm looking for something other than the BSW speakers which I hear works better with the logic 7 setup which I don't have.

You will need an amp for this or any speaker upgrade done to our cars. Without an amp they will sound worse with the oem amp. The good thing about these is that you dont necessarily need to add a sub, you will get nice bass output. Even the BSW which i think is overpriced requires amplification to make them sound decent.
