I simply think he misused the part number, he referred to a dual system but with the single system part number.

I think I am gettin glost in tranlation here. So that I am clear on this. The dual system will not fit the m-tech diffuser even with the dual cut outs? is that correct. The single exhaust system will fit the m-tech diffuser? If this is the case change me to the single exhaust system. But will the bigger tips.

What is to be understood is this :

Remus Austria provides a template for a cutout on the regular bumper(oem), it does not provide a cutout for the M-Tech or M5 bumper, thus you would need to have it cut out.

Okay, here's the deal... Remus' new Left/Right system (086003 198) will fit a 525/530 with M-Tech rear bumper. But like any other quad setup, you'll need a quad diffuser (or have your existing diffuser customized). I'm pretty sure the Remus quad will fit an M5 bumper as well (it just makes sense).

As far as this statement is concerned:

I think what Remus is trying to say is that they only include the cutout "template" for the standard bumper. And that they don't offer any type of template if you're using any other bumper. So, basically if you have an M-Tech bumper (or any other bumper), it's on you to make it work. Remus should be more specific about this, instead as stating "Not for M-Technic rear bumper".

How do I know this dual exhaust setup will work with the M-Tech bumper? I just had mine installed with dual "0010 04G" tips. Still waiting on my diffuser though--so I'm diffuserless at the moment.

I can understand why Remus says "Not for M-Technic rear bumper!" when referring to the dual mufflers because the stock M diffuser does not have the right side cutout and Remus does not provide a template for it. What I still don't understand is why they say that about the single silencer for the 545i on the Remus Austria website....obviously the left side cutout is at the same location for both the OEM bumper and the M Tech bumper and all other stock and aftermarket mufflers fit both bumpers, so should the Remus single (left only) muffler.

I hear ya on this one. I can't see any reason why the single setup wouldn't fit the M-Tech bumper.

FANTASTIC5, I see you have a 2007 530i, just like me. Can you please post a sound clip and give a short review or what you think. Right now, I am going to order the rear m5 bumper and am deciding between the remus or just straight piping like Hamman5. thank you so much.
