Would like to sign up on this group buy, as long as the resistors don't overheat and start a fire in my trunk (boot), otherwise all my junk will burn. How is the testing going?

Some of the cops in NY may pass it off as impersonating a police car.
The reason it does this is to check the status of the halogen plate bulbs. It sends a quick pulse to check for resistance and pass-thru and the halogen bulb does not have time to react to this pluse.
However the LED's has a quick reaction and catches this 'test' pluses and fires off.
Now for those LED's christmas light bulbs...it really plays games with your eyes as you pass by them
