Alright guys, I finally received and installed the new adapter. I will be putting it through it's paces the next couple weeks and if everything checks out, my friend will be putting them into production. Stay tuned...

Why isn't your friend using OEM connectors also that resistor will become really hot so be careful.

The connectors actually fit tighter than the OEM ones. I believe he used an alternative to save on cost. yeah I'm aware that these particular resistors will be prone to heat. Let's see how they fair in the hot southern Californian weather.
