Sweet! When do they estimate to finish and/or begin shipping?

 

Original quoted production window was 3-4 weeks. I'll try to get an update Monday. Dealing w/ a major work crisis at the moment...

 

Should be the end of the 3rd week now...have they provided any ETA or updates? Let me know if I can help...we appreciate you taking this on!

 

Sorry for not providing more regular contact, folks. I really don't want to whine about the chaos in my life, but it's been a trying time to say the least.

Unfortunately, nothing to report. I've tried to call several times to hopefully catch him, but no answer. I'm going to send him a somewhat-nastygram shortly. Thanks for the offer to help BTW - not sure what you can affect, but I'll let you know if I think of something!

Can we get some type of straightforward communication from these folks?
- Target / Milestones with dates for the manufacturing and shipping

If we are dealing with honest / well-intentioned people, they will provide an answer. Or explain why they can't.
Otherwise we're just being taken for a ride.

Trust me - I share your frustration. I am the one expending the effort on this project...and I certainly hope you're not insinuating anything about my intentions...

Unfortunately, the simple truth is that there just isn't another product on the market for our application. If you miss your deposit that much, I can refund it no problem. I'm, for one, going to hold out.

 

i hope the quality will be worth the wait. I was stock when i went into this group buy my car is fbo now lol

 

I heard similar stories about RD before this group buy, and I expected as much for our experience. Thanks to JT for continuing to work for us.

Unfortunately, no. I'm near my wit's end w/ this guy and it bubbled over a bit into an email I sent him 6 days ago:

"Federico - I can't even count anymore how many times I've tried to contact you without a response. My frustration level with your lack of basic customer service skills is to the point where I can't even believe I'm still pursuing this. This should be a slam dunk sale and I'm completely clueless as to why it's been handled so poorly...

Do you have any intention of filling this order?"

I know it appears not very tactful, but trust me, I've sent literally over 15-20 emails that were sweet as sugar. I've looked into trying to contact someone above him, but that's been fruitless to this point too...

If anyone wants to try pursuing this from a different angle, please be my guest. I'm happy to continue handling all the logistics if we somehow get traction. His contact information is:
