Have you received a response or update?
I can reach out to him this week if we're still in the dark after so long.
Does he have a deposit from you? If so, how much?

Fortunately, no deposit has been exchanged. We had agreed to once production was initiated, but that's where the communication broke down...
Please feel free to try to reach him.
Thx, JT

Here is his response to my email:
"The new ETA on these bars is Nov 15th. We have had to deal with a few issues as our supplier moved locations and this created an enormous backlog. They are suppliers to TRD, Nismo, and others, so our order of 25 bars has little relevance to them and we have no leverage. Sorry to say, but we are patiently waiting."
JT - Could you please return my deposit? I don't have too much confidence on the new ETA based on what you've described leading up to this. I figure if it does finally come into effect, we can just pay the full amount at that time/
Thanks so much for doing all the work to get the ball rolling. Hope we eventually get to enjoy them.
-Mike

So sorry for the late response, Mike, and thank you for following up w/ RD.
I will try to refund your deposit this afternoon (lots of running around yet to do before close of business), but no later than by tomorrow morning.
Anyone else want out?

I called him about two weeks ago and still nothing. I fear that my "challenge" on his business practices may have alienated him (though it's still a significant sale). One of the participants in this G/B had some success reaching him a month or so back, but I don't know if he has followed up as I asked.
Bottom line is that Im probably going to give him one more shot after the New Year. But if I continue to get the silent treatment, I'm going to pull the plug and return your deposits. Even though this is a proven product and we have zero other options, I'm tired of trying to be polite, facilitative, supplicant, then driving and aggressive to get this jack-off to just do his f*ing job. Sorry guys - I had no idea that it would be this difficult.
(and, believe me, I will slam RD publicly at every opportunity if he fails to come through)

Nope, he only corresponded that one time, and has gone silent since then, after 4-5 emails. I don't understand this nonsense in today's world. Its really not hard to just respond with one sentence.

I've had it w/ this schmuck. Either my emails to him are getting lost in the ether (but v-mails too??) or he's just a tool.
Either way, I've sent him one last request. If I don't hear back by the end of the week, I will issue refunds to all of you on your deposits.
Sorry guys - I tried...
