Hey guys,
I just received and installed my new parts from John. The new parts fit perfect. Im just trying to get them ride the way i like it. The front sits over the tire just how i wanted it too and the rear sits the same. Ill try and get some pics up this weekend. If anyone needs more info just Pm me..

OK, AND!!! Did you tune the system the way you want it. We got so many questions.
1) Is it worth the money?
2) How is the ride?
3) Would you recommend the product to all the XI owners?
4) Can you get by with Eibacks springs.
5) How is the handling.
6) Why are you so secretively.
7) Talk to us, do we XI enthusiast still need to save for KW's or did we find the Holy Grail?
Can't wait to see the pictures. I'm ready to pull the trigger on the CKS coilovers.

3) yes now that the kinks are worked out everything fits perfect.
4) eibach doesn't make springs for xi's so no.
5) handling is very good
6) don't understand this question.
With all that being said I might put these up forsale soon. I might be going air ride theirs a local shop that I deal with looking to sponsor me. The deal is to good to pass up.

My Ride: 2009 535xiT Silver/Gray with Sport, Nav, Cold, Convenience, Logic7 and more.
After reading 9 pages of this thread I am still confused, esp after following 5 months long project by 04Tl and his huge patience with vendor - so are CKS coils worth installing?

I have the same car e61 with rear air suspension btw.
0. what type coils did you get? CKS offers C1 MacPherson and two other types.
1. what the drops did you go with for front and rear vs stock.
2. how much adjustability do you get front/rear
3. what exactly is installed in the rear for air suspension - is it adjustable links only or any more parts are added/replaced?
4. do you need to run wheel spacers to clear coil overs?
5. any notable features these coils have e.g. dampening/recoil adjustment, how easy to adjust the drop etc.
6. how much did installation run you and was it straight forward or was anything modified in the process so that it would prevent returning your car back to stock if needed?
