E-mail from Dave regarding the install:

"Oh and the instructions online are not updated yet for the V2.0 The only difference in install would be to plug the connectors into the iBrights FIRST, then turn the parking lights on to make sure they are both lit up, if one doesnt turn on, just turn the connector upside down, and test again. Then you can follow the rest of the instuctions."

Yeah, I got the same email too, but my question is...where are his instructions online for V1.0? I'm going to use the DIY instructions on here anyway, but was still curious as to where the instructions were on his site? Any idea?

If you take your time, how long does it take for the install? I'm debating on whether or not to just have the dealer do it.

Mmmm. Good question. Can't find it. Unless they consider the 4 lines of text on the home page consisting of "remove headlight, unplug old light, plug in new light" the instructions.....

CustomAngelEyes liberally used Chi_Town Racing's DIY instructions if I recall.

Easily one hour. At the most, 1.5 hours but only if you aren't a very good DIYer.

Hey Wanton - I shot Dave (President of CustomAngelEyes/AngeliBright) an email and told him you were interested in the group buy, but a little uncertain of how to go about it. I gave him your handle and told him to PM you. If you'd rather shoot him an email directily, his info is as follows:

David Gershaw
President & Owner: CustomAngelEyes.com / Angel iBright
www.CustomAngelEyes.com / www.AngeliBright.com
Office: 800.6200.BMW
Fax: 978.777.2880
Dave@customangeleyes.com

He's a great guy and super responsive. You'll enjoy doing business with him.

Welcome to the forum and let us know what model E60 you have and where you are from. Congrats again on the car.

/C

Chi-Town said 45 minutes. I assume most of the time will be spent on the first side. Once you figure how it all works, the last side will be cake. However, what everyone has been saying is to take your time and DO NOT force anything.

Dave just shot me this link in an email. It has Chi-Town's instructions, plus an alternative option. However, the alternative option sounds like it will only work if you have hands like an ewok.
