Are you saying this board has helped you speak English better?
(It hasn't done a darn thing for my Italian! )
Unfortunately Latin languages are very difficult for you, because all words (substantive, adjective) change for male/female-singular/plural and verbs for every person too .
In last period I am surprised about how many words are similar between my language and english : for example, in the sentence above :
Unfortunately = sfortunatamente
language = lingua
difficult = difficile
substantive = sostantivo
adjective = aggettivo
female = femminile
singular/plural = singolare/plurale
verb = verbo
person = persona
similar = simile
example = esempio (latin exemplum)
period = periodo
surprised = sorpreso
in = in
sentence have a similar word, 'sentenza', but it means 'verdict by a judge' .
verdict = verdetto
judge = giudice
Merit (merito) of Romans that reached England .
Just for your curiosity (curiosit? ) .
Byeee!

Just learned something,
trolls = forum participants that post deliberately provocative messages.
AND
there are some really bad forum software out there.
Hey, DAS, Lomag, Uxeman, Rudy thanks for establishing this forum. I do learn something new almost everytime I use it and it has enhanced my ejoyment of the ownership of my car by removing FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt).

I recently tried to find the archive of the old e60 forums on the wisc site and can't find it. Has it moved? I had a euro delivery trip report in there that I'd like to find again since my wife and I are thinking of doing another this spring. thanks....Eric
