The F07 / 5GT has started popping up on the television.
It featured in all 3 episodes of the BBC2 drama SHERLOCK [silver 530dSE]
And now a Black Sapphire 5GT is being used to ferry judges around on the UK-version of THE X FACTOR whenever they are in London!
As some who was very skeptical of the model when it was launched [looks, drive] until I actually saw one and drove it on an extended test drive;
and now a proud owner of one that I wouldn't trade for a saloon, I am not surprised people are coming around.
Granted the looks are an acquired taste: but it doesnt exactly go un-noticed for the right reasons when I park up.
My E60 (which I believe is a stunningly modern design and better looking than the bland F10) had got kind of dated.

Glad to see that you are enjoying your new ride. Too bad the 5er GT isn't doing so well over here.

I saw a 5GT here in Denver this weekend...must admit it looks better in person.
