My Ride: BMW 530d E60L 235 bhp Sept 2008
Default

Hello all,

I am preparing to change car again and upgrade from my current 530d E60 (Sept. 2008) to the 535d F11.
However, since I am looking for used cars, I would like to know from you if there has been any known situation for the 35d engine in the F10/F11 right after the launch of the current generation, during the second quarter of 2011. Anything I should be worrying about at all?

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any engine related issue on the F1x series after the launch, so go ahead!

Hi rhinosaur,

I have not read or heard anything bad about the x35d engines.

They even seem to work great as x40d's with the X5 and X6- and 7-series.
