Model Year: 2012
Today I was contacted by a very close friend of mine who is responsible of a BMW dealer to test drive the new F10 M5.
What to say simply standing out car. IMO much better than the previous E60, handles better and specially the gearbox is smoother than before.
It was only one bad think: it was raining so no chance to try it in sport mode with DSC partially off (MMD1)or completely off MMD2).
Here are some photos.

My Ride: 2010 M5 alpine white, black full leather, etc.
The F10 M5, of course, is a great vehicle; a proud progression for the M5 line at BMW since the first one in 1988.
It irks me, however, that you and unnamed others have voiced definitive opinions on this forum after reading some reviews or spending five minutes or so at the wheel of an M vehicle and never have actually owned one. I find any such criticisms of the M cars, whether it is an E60 M5, an E46 M3 or any other one, rather weak. Bite the bullet and buy one! Log some mileage (or in your case, kilometers) at the wheel of your own M and then let's hear some fully reasoned comments.
Maybe you could instead spend some time to enlighten us on BMW motorcycles while you tested yourself on the Amalfi coast. Your list of bikes clearly speaks for itself.

And yes I could talk about bikes as well as rides but not along Amalfi cost. I am leaving too far away, we can talk about Alps and Croatian cost line if you wish.

There is just something about the growling raving beast inside the the E60 M5 is that I just can't get enough of.
Until I have a chance to drive the F10 version, I would really enjoy reading about some of your riding
experiences in the Alps and Croatia. I drove the entire length of the Amalfi coast, but not in a super car. Nevertheless it was an experience I will
never forget. The guys on cycles had to be in a trance to deal with the deadly hairpins turns not knowing what would be coming in their direction.
Cheers
