Strange connector

My Ride: BMW e60 525Da LCI White, DPF out, Front grill black, Shadow line, license plate super bright led, interior white leds;
Yesterday i remove the glove box to retrofit fla mirror and to install the k-can wires and i see teo connectors behind glove box, i have cdc , i post pictures to show you guys what is

This one is a fiber optic loop plug where diagnostic equipment hook up to which attached to small plastic cover that the mechanic can pop it open and get access to it from within the glove compartment, the pointy end (w/ white plastic) is a loopback end plug so the fiber optic stay in continuous closed loop if it's open you'll get various iDrive warning/error i.e. SOS malfunction.
