Wheels and rear suck. Front and sides are good. Still not wow'ed though.

they shouldve done this a decade ago. This isnt new technology. I dont understand. But it's nice they are integrating these features. It's gonna make my idrive look like an antique.

So this M Sport package offer is purely cosmetic?

Yes, I think it looks good ... but haven't M Sport packages on prior models typically also included a lower ride height, thicker sway bars, stiffer springs, recalibrated dampers, and other upgraded suspension bits? And even a sportier exhaust?

I guess they are saving that stuff for when the M5 comes out?

but even the current f10 sport pkg is cosmetic IMO, you have to order adaptive drive separately from the actual sport package.....

I'm pretty sure they split the package into two now, sports for looks, and dynamic handling. I don't have the facts in front of me though

Good info Rudy for most US buyers,

But nothing of these will affect my '10 F10 520dA.

But as we know, BMW develops their cars all the time.

In the US, you don't have to take a car even if it's a special order. And your deposit must be returned. So although it may not be a nice to do to your dealer, I'd threaten to cancel the order unless they change it to a September production. Imagine how you're going to feel after a month of ownership when you see an M-sport equipped car.

Go for the change - you won't regret it!

First thing this morning the July order was cancelled.
