Regards to the engine size, I read the GT 550i will be a V8 TT, I'm certain the F10 has to top that with a V10 TT right?

I don't think the F10 has to top the GT. It'll likely be the same engine -- except that the M version of the F10 will clearly have to top the regular one as well as the GT...

I will be heading into the undiscovered country on the F10. My lease is up mid Jan, and I am going to extend till May, and pick it up at the Wedt. Be nice to actually see the damn thing one of these days though.

my lease is up 12/2010

so not sure if I will venture into an F10...or find another e60

either way I'll be leasing it

so if I do get an e60 again, the lease would take me in production year 2 or 3....

most likely Rudy will write an even LONGER review for the F10 than he did for the LCI 550i I'm looking forward to that tho, as I am sure that will help in my decision....ready to take notes professor

My dad (FlyM5) is going to lease one whenever it comes out. Wait for his C63 going up for sale!

let's see how it looks like first.. i remember how i saw the first picture of e60.. at that time i was about 18 years old, and did not even dream about buyng one. after that i owned many cars, then e39, now e60 and experience with BMW is great so far. if i had to buy a car now i would probably go with 5 series again. they prove to be the best (at least for me) when it comes to balance between money, performance and look.

so most likely i'll be getting one one day. but again let's see what is going to be like first

If F10 is gonna have the same face as new 5GT and/or 7 series, I think I will either buy one of the last production models of E60/E61 rather than buying F10...
Just can't swallow the "new look". I thought it would be great, but after seeing GT in person at IAAI in Frankfurt on Monday, I'm dissapointed and wondering what are they doing....

I'm a true BM-fan, so never considered going to Audi, but now I'm seriously thinking instead of F10/F11 to check out new A6 when it goes out next year..
So far, par curiosity I checked and test-drove new A5 sportback (4 door sedan) a bit tiny but.... loved every single thing about it...
Which makes me sad... beacuse I want it all, but under the BMW brand....

PS.
Guys who were at Frankfurt: have you noticed the white cheap-looking plastic panels under the glass of front reflectors in almost every new BMW model (GT, X1)??? WTF?? It looks like a cheap, village tuning....

What I mean by white cheap-looking plastic panels under the glass of front reflectors:
(unfortunatelly on photos it looks muuuuuch better than in reality where it simply sucks and feels so cheap....)
take a look:
