These numbers don't tell a thing. You need to look at complete set of financial statements to see why NI dropped so much even though Revenue from Sales has declined only slightly.
There is gotta be something else that affected it besides "economic downturn" and taxes.

it could be a lot worse. the new e class mercedes is a step backwards to my eye. this isn't so much backwards as sideways. i like what they did with the hood surfaces, but i hate how new cars have such a high leading edge on the hood to meet euro safety regs. it still looks like a 5 series, but i wonder how well it will age. i hated the e60 when it first came out, but now think it's gorgeous. the fact that this one is ok may not be a good sign i'm sure plenty of members of this forum will find ways to make it look more interesting
