Attaching Sunblind rear windscreen electric -picture from the Configurator:

Still haven't made a decision whether to choose this or not...

Why don't you go for:

0761 Sun protection glazing

I have that rear windscreen electric on the e39 and i don't find it so usefull.
On the E60 i have that sun protection glazing and it's really nice ( basically very dark tinted rear and back windows). Plus, it looks cool.

I would add the rear blind at least! Its good at night, especially with more people installing HID's etc... it can help minimis glare in your rearview mirror!

Before I tinted my windows, i kept the rear blind up most of the time...

Could you please comment a bit more why you don't find it so usefull ?

As it might help me to do a correct decision.

I have it in my e60 along with the shades on the side windows. It great for keeping the car cool on a hot summer day, for blocking out bright truck lights when they are behind as well as in the summer i keep the windows down and the shades up when parked outside my house or at a friends so air can get in yet people cant look in. I've owned a few bmws that didn't have it and I know since owning my car my next car will definitely have it.

I barely use it since I have 20% tint all around, when I have it up makes stuff blurry. If it was me I would just tint the window, which I am going to retint all my window 10 or 15% and probably the front windshield 35 or 30% =) I like shades

I like it for the added privacy and sun protection; in fact, I wish it was an option for the front passenger door window too.

My wife has one on her car and I love it. I wish my car came with one. The sunshade helps quite a bit to keep the car cooler.
