My Ride: New ride from 14th May07: 525iA LCI, Sport Suspension, Deep Sea Blue, Leather Dakota Natural Brown, Hi-Gloss Black trim, Star Spoke 124 18", Comfort Seats with memory,
M -steering wheel, Glass Roof, Navi Professional, ProLogic7, USB-connection, Bi-Xenon, Extended Air Condition, Auto dimming mirrors, Electric Folding mirrors, Bluetooth for Cell Phone Sony Ericsson K750i, Electric rear window shade, Ligth package, Speed control with brake function, Cup Holders, Automatic head light control, PDC, Shadow line
Hi all,
After having my current ride for 7 months I have been driving 10.000 kms with it (during the same period 6.000 kms with the Z4 sDrive 30i). Lets make the story short:
- no faults
- diesel consumptions in average is 7,3 l/100 kms
- average speed 74,1 km/h
- mostly driven on Austrian and German Autobahns (appr.75%), country roads(20%) and city (5%) including a lot of heavy traffic
I am still extremely happy with the car. Compared to my F10 535iA 04/2010 the car is more quiet, finishing is better in both interior and exterior.
Performance/consumption ratio is amazing! 6,0 s 0-100 km/h with this fuel consumption is really something to be happy with.
Regards,
TGII

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Thanks for you report TitangrauII530iA
The average consumption is surprisingly low, even with so much sub urban and freeway driving.
Of course your new 535dA feels more quiet, you drive on so much better roads now!
But I suppose the diesel is also better sound isolated, and as a later build - better built.
I noticed the same coming from a Pre-Lci 525i to a 520d LCI E60.
What do you say about the Z4 sDrive 30i?

The Z4 sDrive 30i makes just FUN - it's still all about driving - even if the Z 4 E85 was even more directly telling what happens between the car and the road.
Pure facts:
Total kms now 14995 - no faults, fuel consumption 8,3l/100 kms.
