My first thought? What a crappy parking job by the F10 driver!!
Frankly both did a poor job but the F10 driver would be asking to be keyed back here in the states parking like that...

Oh, and it would be nice to know the versions. The E60 looks to be a 520D though I'm not positive about that. The F10, don't know enough to tell which version it is. Compared to the base E60, I do have to give the nod to the F10 though not an overwhelming victory. The E60 with the M Sport Pkg is better in my view. My decision to go with the M3 was not a function of the exterior but rather the driving characteristics...

I seem to be at odds with alot of people who first saw an E60. Except for a few models like the 635csi, 850i and M1 I always thought for the most part that BMW styling was sort of run of the mill but when I first saw an E60 I liked it's stand out styling imediatly. No such luck with the f10 though and these comparison pics only confirm my first impretions. I hope f10 M body kit will liven things up. Thanks for photos Ric

And the more I drive my F10 the better the car feels.
But note that my car has 20" wheels, with 17" wheels the F10 looks like this:

The 17's look terrible on the F10...way too small.
They may be fine as temporary winter wheels however (since smaller rims are better for snow).

Actually narrow tires are better (225 vs. 245) in wet snow and snow, the wheel size don't matter.

I have not seen an F10 other than in photos, but as far as I can tell, the exterior differences between the F10 and E60 are far less than those between the the E60 and E39. I had a hard time pulling the trigger on my E60 purchase since it was so different from my E39. I think a casual observer would be hard pressed to tell my '05 E60 is as old as it is. Thank you BMW.
