Well that explains why they cant use E100 + they already HAVE!

i like the way they used the codes before, check out for example e36, it has 16 different configurations, it even includes the z3 and z3 roadster, because it was focused more on the platform than in the configuration.

Now they use a different number even if it mostly the same car (for example e60 and e61). It is deffinetly harder to remember, just a few years ago if you saw a 3 series you could say it was a e46, regardles it having 2 or 4 doors or being a cabrio, now depending on the number of doors it could be a e90, e91 or e92.. geez!!
