Hit a curb today , everything is ok, rims are ok and thankfully it didn't touch the body of the car. However my tire chipped. Should I get a new tire or am I ok? What do you guys think? Thanks !!!

No, these are 245/35/20 Continental ExtremeContact DW. They are not runflats. There is no separation from the wheel and the bead of the tire as you can see in the pics.

Anything on the sidewall is bad news....have it checked out by your dealer.

I'm with Pete on this one. Hard to tell how deep it is from the photo but if you've got a good tire place you trust, I'd have it looked at. Not sure I'd do the dealer unless you really trust them as they seem likely to try and sell you a new tire...

It looks superficial,if it had damaged the sidewall you would have had a bleb showing by now.Just keep a regular check on it and if a bleb appears get it replaced.

I just want to thank you all for your input and your support. Happened late last night , tire shop was closed so I got a little worried and I just came here to vent out with you guys. I also thought this might have happened to some of you before. I went to the tire shop this morning(Discount Tire) I was told that it was just superficial and that those continental tires had protection against damage on the sidewall... hmmm ook? In other words , I should not worry and everything is fine. Thanks again !!!

protection or not, sidewalls are still more susceptible to damage. I ran through some bits of wood on the board and managed to get a small wooden pick stuck into the sidewall, that was the end of that tire....

Back when I was signing the papers to lease my F10, I got tire and wheel protection package as part of the deal. It's an extra $5 a month but it covers my wheels and tires for the entire length of the lease. So if my tires or wheels gets damaged in any way, I get a new one at no cost! It's definately worth it as these tires and wheels are $$$.
